17TH EDITION WIRING REGULATIONS 2382-20 BS 7671:2008 TRAINING COURSE (Upgrade course from 16th Edition Wiring Regulations)
WE ARE READY FOR THE INTRODUCTION OF THE 17th EDITION WIRING REGULATIONS 2382-20 BS 7671:2008- ARE YOU?
The 17th Edition Wiring Regulations 2382-20 BS7671:2008 will come into effect from 1st July 2008
From then on all Commercial, Domestic and Industrial wiring installations must be designed, constructed, inspected, tested and certificated to meet the requirements of BS7671:2008
This one day tutor lead training course is designed for those people who already hold the 16th Edition Wiring Regulations certificate and who wish to upgrade to the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations 2382 BS7671:2008.

This new City & Guilds approved 5 day course is designed for the new electrician or those not possessing the 16th Edition certificate.

TRAIN TO GAIN SUCCESS
Nine team leaders employed by Frank Allart in Birmingham have been awarded their ILM Team Leader award (NVQ2) funded through the Train To Gain initiative.
The Team Leader award was delivered over a nine month period on site by EEF Technology Centre. It involved short classroom sessions and company based projects to generate evidence required for the NVQ standards.
As a result of the course the company now has regular team briefing sessions. The team leaders now organise health and safety audits, housekeeping and have introduced and maintained a job rotation scheme, which has led to a more flexible workforce.

Four specialist machine setter/operators employed by Container Printers (Birmingham) have been awarded NVQ level 2 (PMO) which were funded through the Train to Gain initiative.
