APPRENTICE PROGRAMME 2009

We are receiving applications from young people who are looking to start a career in the manufacturing sector. In these difficult times its hard to think about the future but we all know that our future business success needs competent, talented, flexible and skilled people to operate.

Apprentices are the future of our industry, the humble apprentice of today is your manager of tomorrow.

Maybe you have not trained apprentices before, maybe you think the training is complicated, maybe you realise that in a few years time some of your current workforce will be retiring.

EEF Technology Centre can help you

• Selection and recruitment of young people
• Demystify apprentice/training jargon
• Work with you to develop a solid training system to get the workplace skills you need
• Work with your apprentice(s) to ensure they get the technical and non technical skills they need
• Organise and monitor progress of the individual against your programme and national standards
• Obtain generous funding to off set apprentice training costs
