CURRENT VACANCIES AT THE TECHNOLOGY CENTRE
We have vacancies for :-
TRAINER/ASSESSOR
The postholder will report to the Business Development Manager.
The main requirements of the role will be:
* To support and grow Train To Gain learner volumes by delivering both training and NVQ assessments to address employer's needs and the learners' agreed training plan
* To develop and deliver short courses both a the Centre and on employer's sites, against agreed objectives
* To carry out Health and Safety audits
* To undertake initial assessment of needs to include Training Needs Analysis and Basic Skills Assessments
* To review and record outcomes of training and assessment in accordance with Awarding Body and funding agent requirements
Due to the nature of the role the individual will need to be flexible with their working pattern and will be expected to work outside of the Centre's normal working hours to accomodate learners who may be on shifts that could include evenings, nights and weekends.
The successful candidate will have considerable experience within the engineering and manufacturing sector and should hold relevant training and assessment qualifications (e.g. D33, D34, A1, C&G 7407 etc).

ASSOCIATE ASSESSORS
We are seeking people who have worked in the manufacturing industry and hold D32/D33 or A1 assessor awards. Experience in production engineering, electrical and or electrical maintenance would be ideal.
We have many contracts for other areas of work.
