It is designed to give an employee an overall understanding of their health & safety responsibilities at work, regulations they will encounter, companies health & safety requirements to their clients and an understanding of risk assessment.

Course Overview

The programme covers a defined syllabus requiring a minimum of six hours tuition time and students are assessed by a short objective test consisting of 30 multi-choice questions.

The certificate is valid for 2 years and is the suggested basic requirement for all employees, who have not taken further H&S qualifications.

This is a Chartered institute of Environmental Health certificated course which incorporates all the listed elements of study within the syllabus.
