17th Edition Wiring Regulations City & Guilds 2382 - 20 BS-7671:2008 (Upgrade course from 16th Edition Wiring Regulations)

This course is designed to take delegates through the main sections of the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations. Upon successful completion of the course delegates will be able to relate to the IEE 17 th Edition Wiring Regulations to electrical installation work practices, achieving City & Guilds accreditation.

Who Should Attend?

This course is aimed at the practicing electrical installation and maintenance engineers who already possess a 16 th Edition certificate. It is intended to familiarise the candidate with the changes within the wiring regulations and prepare them for the City and Guilds examination BS7671: 2008.

Entry Requirements:

Delegates who have already achieved a qualification addressing BS7671 such as the City & Guilds Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical Installation (BS7671:2001) 2381 or the 2330-07, 2330-08 or the 2360 part 2 post 1st January 2004 will be allowed to register for this one day course

Recommendations from City & Guilds

It is expected that candidates must have achieved one of the following qualifications, which addresses the requirements for BS 7671 in order to be allowed to enter this qualification.

City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671: June 2001 (2381),or

• City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology Installation (Building and Structures) (2330-07), or

• City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology Electrical Maintenance (2330-08)

• City and Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Electrical Installation Part Two (2360) (from January 1st 2004 onwards only)

Anyone without existing knowledge, as detailed above, of the requirements of BS7671 must undertake the qualification addressing the Wiring Regulations in full – the City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical Installations (BS7671:2008) (2382-10)

 

Delegates who wish to book for this training course must have an original copy of their 16th Edition Wiring Regulations certificate and be able to produce it at time of booking. (Please attach a photocopy of your 16th Edition Wiring Regulations Certificate to the booking form)

Please also state delegates date of birth on the booking form

Delegates will also need to produce photographic Identification (i.e. valid passport, driving licence etc) on the first day of attendance.
