Information Technology Workshops

In the busy environment of the ‘world of work’ technology is constantly improving and changing. It is vital to promote the level of understanding of PC technology and its application. The Technology Centre can provide hands-on computer software application training to meet the needs of your workforce.

This suite of courses is designed to meet the requirements of the beginner to the more advanced user. Emphasis will be placed on practical guidance.

All of the workshops have tutor support and guidance.

There is a mixture of delivery methods from self study to structured sessions.

Some workshops will have formal accreditation.

The courses are modular to provide a choice of pace and time. Each one-day session is self contained and can form part of an incremental training process.

There will be a wide range of workshop dates to choose from as well as the facility to use the IT unit as a drop in centre.

Delegates will have the opportunity to choose at which level they enter and leave the programme according to experience and knowledge.

The technology centre will continue to host traditional computer workshop courses delivered by a tutor in a practical environment.
