Implementing National Vocational Qualifications

In an age of intense global competition it is essential to assure customers that high standards are maintained not only in terms of the quality of materials and processes but more importantly that all employees are competent.

NVQs provide evidence that employees have been assessed to National Standards agreed by industry.
We are a fully approved and licensed assessment centre and are able to deliver NVQ qualifications in the following areas

    EEF West Midlands Technology Centre offers a complete professional service in helping companies implement National Standards which are now available for most occupations within the engineering and manufacturing industry.

    National Standards form the basis of National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) when accredited by a relevant awarding body such as the Science, Engineering and Manufacturing Technologies Alliance (SEMTA).

    • Identification of the appropriate Standards for all employees
    • The training of your own Assessors or the provision of an Assessor Service if required

    • Links to our own Approved Assessment Centre and Verification Service to ensure the Standards have been effectively implemented
