APPRENTICES SEEKING EMPLOYMENT

The apprentices listed below are seeking employment - can you help?

AS 0001

I really enjoy working with my hands. This is what led me to apply to the EEF Technology Centre where I have been accepted on to an engineering apprenticeship scheme and I am enjoying it greatly.

I have so far completed the Bench Fitting Section and have almost completed the Milling Section.

I seemed to have learned a lot very quickly and I am now able to use Measuring equipment properly and read autographic projection drawings.

I still have Turning, CAD and Key Skills to complete and I am interested in securing a company to work for to advance in my career with them.

MM 0002

I am a hard working responsible person who is eager to work, whether it is in a group or individually. I have a great attitude and passion for the work I do, whilst keeping my punctuality excellent. I maintain deadlines and will go out of my way to do so.

I am currently at the EEF Technology Centre studying an engineering apprenticeship. There are six different sections teaching me a wide range of things from Turning and Milling to Computer Aided Design.

I have completed the Milling, Turning, CNC and Bench sections so far and I have achieved excellent reports. I have constantly been learning and picking up new skills and have thoroughly enjoyed the work that I have been doing.

DG 0003

I am an enthusiastic person who is co-operative and easy to get on with. I can work on my own or as part of a team. I have previous engineering experience. I have now started an apprenticeship with EEF and have completed the training and assessment of Performing Engineering Operations, which consists of Bench Fitting, Turning & Milling. I have also completed the CNC section and finished my projects on employment responsibilities and rights (ERR).

During my time at EEF Technology Centre I have worked to the timetable given and completed the work to the required standards. I have acquired many new skills and I am now seeking an employer to take me on so I can further my engineering career.

JM 0004

An individual character dedicated to learning in engineering. My goal is to enhance my personal skills to increase my value to a company as time progresses.

My main qualities that make me a valuable candidate are my reliability for arriving every day with the right positive attitude and an aim for 100% attendance each year.

Bench Fitting, Milling, Turning and CNC sections have already been completed for my NVQ Level 2 in Performing Engineering Operations.

Reviews show that I have gained great feedback from the sections that I have worked on above and these prove that I am hard working, and that I have a positive attitude. I have excellent timekeeping and that I have an interest in engineering.

I am hoping to find employment so I can begin my NVQ Level 3 qualification and progress with my career from there.

MS 0005

I am a hardworking individual dedicated to finding a career in engineering and improving my skills to the best of my ability.

I am currently working on an Apprenticeship Programme in the Mechanical Engineering route at EEF Technology Centre and have completed all my given work in the Bench Fitting, Milling, Turning and CNC sections. I will also do a bit of CAD/CAM and gain the necessary Key Skills.

I am hoping to gain an employer linked to the electrical side of engineering – as this is the area which gives me the greatest interest.

AH 0006

I am currently attending EEF Technology Centre and I have completed the following sections: Bench Fitting, Electrical Wire and Test, Mechanical Maintenance, Key Skills and Employment Rights and Responsibilities (ERR)

I am currently enhancing my skills by working on the Centre Lathe section.

I believe I have good communication skills and get on well in a team or as an individual. I can put my ideas forward, but also listen to others and form better ideas on the information others give me.

GS 0007

I attend the EEF Technology Centre studying engineering and I have completed the following sections: Bench Fitting, Mechanical Maintenance, Electrical Wire and Test, Key Skills and Employment Rights and Responsibilities (ERR).

I feel that I can work strongly in a team and can take leadership roles on. I am a hard worker and enjoy doing work.

I like fixing things and I am willing to learn and progress in the future. I can communicate well, have IT skills and have basic engineering skills.

SJ 0008

I am a hard working and enthusiastic learner. I can grasp most machining quickly and complete the tasks set for me. I mainly excelled in the electrical work and the CAD as I enjoyed them the most. I know that learning in a company I would be a competent worker.

Sections that I have completed are: Bench Fitting, Electrical, Mechanical Maintenance, Keys Skills, ERR and CAD.

CD 0009

Currently at EEF Technology Centre and I have completed PEO, Key Skills and ERR with only the VRQ to finish.

I am a reliable, hardworking and punctual individual who likes to get my hands dirty. I am a very capable person and have a lot of potential, and I also know my way round the insides of a PC.

During my spare time I enjoy reading books and magazines and playing games on my pc.

CC 0010

I feel that I am very good at working with my hands and I work well independently, but also work very well in a team. I feel my strongest points are Mechanical and Electrical maintenance, but also key skills. I have completed the following sections: Electrical wire and test, Mechanical Maintenance, Bench Fitting, Key Skills, ERR and CAD.

All of the sections above have been completed ahead of time with days to spare. With the rest of the time left over I have spent time improving any of the necessary skills so that it would make me better at something I love to do.

I am an enthusiastic apprentice who likes to learn more and will try to improve on anything to make my chances of employment greater.

I enjoy being competitive and I like to be the best at everything that I do – I think that by doing this my work is always to a high standard and is always completed on time.
